2026 Entry Information February 2, 2026 Dear Consignor, Happy New Year! We have started planning for the second annual Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale: • The sale will be a two-day select yearling sale with approximately 400 yearlings. ▪ A maximum of 50 Out of State Breds – graded on same scale as IN Breds. ▪ Yearlings will not be assigned days. The sale will run continuous over both sessions starting with a letter to be drawn randomly. ▪ Consignors will not have the opportunity to move/change hip numbers. • The sale will be held Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16, 2026 at The Indiana State Fairgrounds with a start time of 10am each day • The deadline for entries is Friday, April 17, 2026. • The auction will be held in the West Pavillion and yearlings will be stabled in the West Pavillion and in Halls B and D of the South Pavillion. • Catalogs will be mailed out the week of September 14, 2026. • The catalog will once again be available for download on Equineline. • We will once again offer a sliding scale commission as well as buyer’s rebates. • Consignors may be eligible to receive 40% of their gross sales at the conclusion of the sale. • Preview Day will be Wednesday, October 14, 2026: 10am - 6pm. It is eight miles from the fairgrounds located at 8180 N Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46250. The block is reserved under Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale from 10/13/26 to 10/16/26. Please make your reservations by 9/11/2026 as the block price will not be honored after that date. The price is $155 per night. The amenities offered are: • Complimentary Hot Breakfast - Includes scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, potatoes, pastries, the all-important coffee, and more. Hot, fresh, and, best of all, free. Should a horse not reach the minimum "upset price" of $1,000 USD a commission of $60.00 will be due to the Sale Company. These commissions shall be deemed earned at the fall of the hammer and shall be payable whether or not the Horse is returned to the consignor as unsold pursuant to the conditions of the Sale or for any other reason. For each horse sold in the amount of up to $49,999, consignor agrees to pay the Sale Company a commission of six percent (6%). Horses sold for $50,000 and up are commissioned as follows: |
